Outside of the Games

I love seeing game references in real life, such as nautical flags, antique clocks, identifying cloud names and so on. Experiencing game sequences is just as exciting, like trying gumbo, dressing up as Samantha Quick from VEN, or actually discovering a real-life secret compartment in a desk. I'm always looking for game elements out in the real world.

Here are a few things outside of the games:

~Lauren dressed up as Nancy Drew for Halloween!~

~Another fan has started a merchandise collection surrounding game elements~

~I found a jam cookie from The Silent Spy! It was delicious!~

Have you found some Nancy Drew things out in the real world?

Also, do you remember this post from June? I'll reveal the secrets to what we were doing up there, soon.

ha I'm ALWAYS trying to find ND game moments! (and I'm always quoting Nancy too! I replayed FIN yesterday, and today I'm practicing magic tricks and I found an opportunity to say, "It's done with mirrors!" LOL ;) Have you ever found a secret compartment in a desk, LJ? If so you are lucky ^_^ I still haven't been able to find one! :(
LJ, that cookie looks delicious! Just like one from SPY! I also see that beautiful white fluffy cloud of whipped cream on something lol XD ... is it hot cocoa? And I KNOW you voiced someone in SPY *insert evil laughter here* I saw your name in the credits!!!!! :O
(in the Miscellaneous section, of course) Was it the cookie lady? I'm 99.99999999999999999999999999 percent sure! lol but no proof yet... *hint hint*
Wait, what?!?! I always thought you were recording up in that building you mentioned in June! you weren't?!?!? How soon is "soon"??????? tell us LJ, please! (methinks I speak for all of us fans lol)

OOOO off to do some sneaky things I dare say. Are you guys planning on doing voice overs for The Shattered Medallion? Or are you guys planning to move to a bigger building? That'd be so cool if you did move into this 10 floor building. I think that was one of Stuart's dreams :D And Twitter contest was yesterday, and might I ask if you guys were ever planning on making a strategy guide for TRT? I remembered back in the day you can order the old games of Nancy Drew strategy guides from DreamCatcher but I don't think they offer those anymore..

@ND's #1 fan -- I have, actually found 5 hidden compartments in a single desk! ;) I just haven't mentioned it yet because I recorded myself showing it off in a video...but haven't put the video together for you yet.

The cookie tasted great! Although I agree...it needed sprinkles. That fluffy white cloud is indeed whipped cream, and below it is actually a Chai Tea Latte. Yum.

You got it! I am the cookie lady! Because I love cookies... ;)

@NANCYGEEK -- Nice! I think everyone should try gumbo, too. XD

@Shainnen Somerville -- You are right about the TRT guide, but since it belonged to Dream Catcher, we can't sell them. We were able to re-create them for FIN and MHM and that's why we now have those available.

@Anonymous -- No sprinkles, indeed! Where are they?!

@EloiseDrew -- Certainly! Do you want to go by your name EloiseDrew?

@William -- You got it!

@LJ- WHAT?!?!?!!? :O you are the luckiest person ever! 5 compartments!
And now I want a Chai tea Latte... yum indeed! And that is so cool you voiced someone in SPY! That's gotta be so much fun... and I <3 cookies too! (you know how in the 2007 ND movie, Nancy had lemon bars in her tin? This recipe looks a lot like the ones in the movie, and I've made them before, they definitely live up to their name ;), although I put more lemon zest than it called for- http://allrecipes.com/video/2914/the-best-lemon-bars/detail.aspx?prop24=RR_RelatedVideoenjoy! :)
